4月4日，金沢歌劇座において，令和6年度金沢大学入学宣誓式を挙行し，学士課程1,975名，大学院793名，別科25名，計2,793名が入学しました。
式では，和田学長から入学者へ，高い人間力と深い見識を身につけ，将来は「金沢大学ブランド人材」として，国内外のリーダーとして活躍してほしいと激励の言葉がありました。
その後，医薬保健学域の川合隼聖さん，人間社会環境研究科の亀山智実さんが入学者代表宣誓をしました。
金沢大学合唱団による校歌斉唱や，金沢大学フィルハーモニー管弦楽団による祝典演奏も行われ，厳粛で希望に満ちた式となりました。
On April 4th, the Kanazawa University 2024 Academic Year Matriculation Ceremony was held at The Kanazawa Theatre. A total of 2,793 students were enrolled: 1,975 undergraduate schools students, 793 graduate schools students, and 25 one-year undergraduate course students.
At the ceremony, President Wada encouraged the new students to acquire high levels of human ability and deep insight, and to go on to become “Kanazawa University graduates” and active leaders both at home and abroad.
Afterwards, Hayase Kawai from the College of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences and Tomomi Kameyama from the Graduate School of Human and Socio-Environmental Studies took the oath on behalf of the new entrants.
The ceremony was both solemn and hopeful, with the Kanazawa University Choir singing the school song and the Kanazawa University Philharmonic Orchestra providing a celebratory performance.
