The delegation first met with executives from the Faculty of Medicine and the University Hospital, including Professor Osamu Hori, Director of the Institute of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences. After introducing both medical schools, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening future collaboration. They agreed to enhance international partnership through two?way exchanges and training at all levels, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and medical fellows. The delegation then toured shared equipment facilities, laboratories, and the University Hospital.

Kanazawa University concluded an inter?university agreement with Mahidol University in 2018 and has since accepted many undergraduate and graduate students, as well as medical doctors, for training. This visit will serve as an opportunity to further strengthen bilateral international exchange, human resource development, and training with medical schools in Thailand.
