On March 16, the 16th (FY2024) Research Results Presentation by the recipients of the Hokuriku Bank Young Researcher Grant and the 18th (FY2026) Award Ceremony for the newly selected recipients were held.

Kanazawa University and Hokuriku Bank established the Hokuriku Bank Young Researcher Grant Program in January 2009 as part of collaborative initiatives under the Comprehensive Partnership Agreement, providing research support to promising young researchers at Kanazawa University.

At the research results presentation, the eight recipients of the FY2024 grant reported on their research achievements and expressed their gratitude for the support. This was followed by the award ceremony for the eight recipients selected for the FY2026 grant, during which Mr. Katsuya Morita, Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of the Ishikawa Regional Business Division of Hokuriku Bank, presented each recipient with their official award notification.

Including the 18th round, a total of 134 researchers have received the grant to date, with cumulative funding reaching 89.6 million yen.
