LINK-J co-hosted event "Kanazawa New Discovery! The Latest Technology for Social Implementation Vol. 2" in Tokyo

On November 28, Kanazawa University will hold a lecture meeting "Kanazawa New Discovery! The Latest Technology for Social Implementation Vol. 2: Kanazawa University Opens the Way for Future Cancer Therapy and Drug Development" was held at the Nihonbashi Life Science Building in Tokyo, co-hosted by the Life Science Innovation Network Japan (LINK-J).

This event was organized in the Nihonbashi area of Tokyo, where there is a concentration of pharmaceutical-related companies, with the aim of bringing the results of Kanazawa University 's advanced research in the life science field to society. The event attracted a wide variety of participants, including university faculty, companies, research institutions, and investors.

Opening remarks were given by Shinichi Nakamura Trustee from Kanazawa University and Shunichi Takahashi Secretary General from LINK-J. Then, Seiji Yano Professor from Institute of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences Faculty of Medicine, Noriko Goto Professor from Cancer Research Institute, Hiroaki Taniguchi Professor, and Yutaka Ikeda Associate Professor introduced their research results on cancer therapy and drug development. In the networking session after the closing address by Dr. Takeyuki Suzuki, Director of Cancer Research Institute, participants actively exchanged opinions with each other, providing an opportunity to feel new possibilities for industry-academia collaboration.
