On December 9, Kanazawa University Affiliated School for Special Needs Education High School students Work Group and Clean Workshop worked on environmental beautification of the Heiwamachi campus.

This activity was conducted as part of the work-study program, following the previous ones in late May, early June, and late October. This time, Affiliated Junior High School we pruned trees around the garbage collection point of the town council behind the tennis court and washed the shared vehicles of the attached school (business vehicles).

The area around the garbage collection point of the town council, where the tree pruning was carried out, is an obstacle to users of the garbage collection point, pedestrians, and automobiles as it grows. The students in the work group carefully pruned the trees and collected the branches, while keeping in mind the purpose of making the road traffic smoother for the neighbors and easier for the users. In addition, the students of the work group carefully washed and cleaned the shared vehicles of the attached school from corner to corner, giving them a beautiful finish as if they were brand new cars.

After the completion of the activity, the school staff expressed their gratitude to the students for their hard work. The Clean Workshop team's environmental beautification activities at Heiwamachi Campus this school year came to an end this time.

Affiliated School for Special Needs Education High School students Clean Workshop are engaged in tree trimming, weeding, and car washing on a daily basis in order to learn how to handle various tools properly and safely, and to follow the proper procedures. By demonstrating the fruits of their labor, as they did this time, the students learn the manners and courtesy required in society, as well as the joy of contributing to society through work, and this helps them develop a desire to work. Affiliated School for Special Needs Education In addition to the Clean Workshop, which beautifies the environment of each of the campuses and districts of Kanazawa University, there is also a workshop for making cookies as a product, running a café, and doing work commissioned by companies.
