Kanazawa University Practical Karate Club Wins Team Title at the 4th All Japan Student Full-Contact Karate Championship

On November 23, the 4th All Japan Student Full-Contact Karate Championship (Intercollegiate) was held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium 1st Gymnasium. Kanazawa University Practical Karate Club achieved a great success by winning the team championship again last year.

Eighteen athletes from Kanazawa University participated in the individual competition. All of them demonstrated the results of their daily training, and as a result, nine of them won prizes, including one winner and two runners-up. In particular, in the women's lightweight division of Division III, Kanazawa University athletes dominated the top three places. In the team awards, which are decided based on the points earned, Kanazawa University won the championship.
