On November 12, the third Presidents' Coordination Council meeting for the "Next-Generation Cancer Professional Training Plan (Next-Generation Hokushin Cancer Professionals)" for 2025 fiscal year was held. This initiative focuses on training professionals to provide seamless cancer care in the Hokushin region.???????

The "Next-Generation Hokushin Cancer Professionals" initiative involves six universities—Shinshu University, Toyama University, University of Fukui, Kanazawa Medical University, Nagano Prefectural College of Nursing, and University of Kanazawa—collaborating across the four prefectures of the Hokushin region. The program aims to train healthcare professionals who can provide high-quality, seamless cancer care across various stages, from diagnosis and treatment to end-of-life care, through multi-facility and multi-disciplinary collaboration.????

 今回の学長連絡協議会では,代表校である金沢大学の和田隆志学長が司会進行を務め、信州大学,富山大学,福井大学,金沢医科大学,長野県看護大学の各学長が今年度の事業の進捗について報告しました。また,1130日に石川県金沢市で開催予定の6大学合同次世代がんプロ市民公開講座についても,最終確認を行いました。

A public lecture on "Next-Generation Cancer Professionals," hosted by our university, is scheduled to take place on March 1 next year. Going forward, the Next-Generation Hokushin Cancer Professionals program will continue to implement team-based healthcare through multi-facility and multi-disciplinary collaboration, working towards the realization of a healthcare system where all cancer patients and their families can receive comprehensive care with peace of mind in their local communities, and establishing a model for this approach. ?? ???
