On July 17th, Frontier Science and Social Co-creation Initiative held a ZATSUDAN NO CHIKARA "Let’s Talk About the “Gaps” Around Us! – Life and Career Insights from a Kanazawa University Alumnus Working at Takata Sangyo Group", and 6 Kanazawa University students participated.
This time, Kaori Takata, Head of Human Resource Development at Takata Sangyo Group and a graduate of Kanazawa University, was invited as a guest speaker. At the beginning of the event, Takata introduced initiatives that make use of the “gaps” within the Takata Sangyo Group, as well as qualities that will be essential in the coming era. During the casual conversation session, three employees from the group also joined, and participants exchanged views on topics such as how to spend one’s student years and approaches to working life.
Participants shared comments such as, “Talking with people I don’t usually get to speak with broadened my perspective,” and “It was helpful for thinking about job hunting and future work.” The event provided a valuable opportunity for learning and self-discovery.
ZATSUDAN NO CHIKARA is a program that creates opportunities for casual chats between students, faculty and staff, and people in the community. By freely discussing with each other without being restricted by occupation, industry, or position, we hope to help students to develop their careers and generate ideas for faculty, staff, and participating companies.
