At Kanazawa university, we implement a summer break and related measures as outlined below, with the goal of helping faculty and staff refresh both mentally and physically, and to further promote energy-saving efforts during the summer season.

The details of each measure are outlined below. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Summer schedule

Period: July, ?1September ?30?
Implementing Departments: in principle, all departments.

● During this period, the number of staff available for services such as counter assistance may be reduced depending on the time of day.
● There will be no changes to class hours or the affiliated hospital’s consultation hours.

Summer break

Summer Break period: August 13 (Wed.), 14 (Thu.), 15 (Fri.) ※1
Recommended period for taking break: August 12 (Tue) *2

※1 University Hospital will operate as usual.
※2 University Hospital will operate as usual. Takara-machi /Tsuruma campus (Takara-machi district) will operate on a reduced scale.
