Holding the Joint Symposium between Nitte University, India, and Kanazawa University

On March 12, Kanazawa University and Nitte University in India held the first joint symposium. At the opening, Vice President Gopal Mugeraya of Nitte University, President Takashi Wada of Kanazawa University, and President and CEO Hidetoshi Shibuya of Shibuya Corporation, who has greatly contributed to strengthening the collaboration between the two universities, delivered speeches, emphasizing the importance of academic exchange and expressing expectations for future cooperation.

The symposium was conducted in a hybrid format, with 61 participants, including eight faculty members from Kanazawa University, joining in India, while 73 participants gathered at Kanazawa University¨s venue. 

The symposium consisted of three sessions: "Mechanical Engineering," "Information Engineering," and "Biological Sciences." After each presentation, a Q&A session was held. At the closing ceremony, Trustee Akiharu Morimoto of Kanazawa University expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed the commitment to further promoting student and researcher exchanges.
