On March 21, 2025, Kanazawa University 2024 Academic Year Degree Conferral Ceremony took place at the Ishikawa Sports Center. 1,673 graduates (undergraduate schools) and 787 graduates (graduate schools), for a total of 2,460, received their degree certificates or diplomas.
President Wada gave words of encouragement to the graduates to set their "Kokorozashi (aspiration)," challenge themselves throughout their lives, continue to learn, and contribute to society by making great strides on the domestic and international stage as "Kanazawa University Brand Talent".
During the ceremony, 14 students were honored with shields by President Wada for their outstanding achievements in academic and social activities .
