On March 6, Institute for Frontier Science Initiative held the 10th Institute for Frontier Science Initiative Symposium at Hotel Nikko Kanazawa. About 65 people - Kanazawa University students, faculty and staff, and companies - participated in the symposium.

This symposium is held every year with the aim to introduce the results of interdisciplinary research being carried out by the institute's research units. As this year marks the 10th anniversary of the institute's founding, the institute introduced innovative research results that transcend academic fields, such as cancer, renewable energy, and cultural heritage, over the past 10 years.

The symposium was attended by participants from a variety of fields, who engaged in a lively question-and-answer session and exchange of opinions throughout the symposium, deepening their understanding of interdisciplinary research.
