On February 19, Kanazawa University and the National Institute of Informatics signed an agreement to promote collaboration and cooperation to utilize each other's R&D capabilities and human resources with the aim of strengthening the research data infrastructure supporting open science.
The agreement was exchanged at the signing ceremony, which was attended by Kanazawa University Trustee Morimoto, Director of Kanazawa University Emerging Media Initiative Dr. Yoshiya Kasahara, Director Dr. Sadao Kurohashi, and Senior Staff Dr. Keiichi Nakano from the National Institute of Informatics.
After the signing ceremony, the 4th Hokuriku Region Academic Data Infrastructure Seminar took place. During the seminar the latest trends in open science and research data infrastructures in Japan and abroad were introduced.
