Kanazawa University students conduct street fundraising campaign for support of Noto Peninsula recovery after Earthquake 2024 and Oku-Noto heavy rains

On January 5, students from Kanazawa University Volunteer Support Station and their leader - lecturer Kaisei Harada from Institute of Human and Social Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Management, together with the Shin-Kanda Youth Association, held a street fundraising event at the east exit of Kanazawa Station to support Noto Peninsula recovery after Earthquake 2024 and Oku-Noto heavy rains.

The donations received from many people were donated to Wajima Juzo Shrine, which plays a central role in the recovery and reconstruction of Wajima City.

Kanazawa University Volunteer Support Station will continue to support the recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas and the people affected by the disaster.
