On December 16 and 18, Kanazawa University Health Service Center held a nutrition education program "Tasting simple breakfast soup with plenty of vegetables" as part of its student support program at the General Education Lecture Hall and Natural Science Building.

The purpose of this tasting event was to prevent students from missing breakfast by introducing them to simple recipes for soups and other dishes. A student volunteer crew from the center handed out the soups with the recipes under the guidance of a registered dietitian.

The menu this time is "White Cream Stew with Chicken and Seasonal Vegetables" and "Simmer and Finish! Easy! Winter Vegetable Minestrone". Because of the popularity of the menu, many students purchased both types of soupes, and it was sold out at both locations.

Purchasers commented: "The minestrone was delicious with a rich tomato flavor and lotus root", "The white stew had a rich cream flavor with the sweetness of vegetables" and "It warmed me up very much. I want to eat it again", "It was so delicious, I could eat as many servings as I wanted" and so on.
