On November 21, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Kanazawa Garrison hosted the spring waiting project "Flower Blooming Heiwana-no-Da 2024", which was attended by about 90 Affiliated Elementary School children, 30 Self-Defense Forces officers stationed in Kanazawa Garrison of the Ground Self-Defense Force, and members of the Heiwamachi Odori Shopping Street Promotion Association, who are collaborators. This is the fourth year that this event has been held. The participants planted 1,750 tulip bulbs along the road of the Kanazawa garrison of the Self-Defense Forces, hoping that they would bloom the following spring.

This initiative is not only a part of local environmental beautification activities, but also aims to help revitalize the community by making people feel positive and creating a lively community and a place of enrichment and relaxation for residents, school commuters, and commuters.

The children were chatting with the Self-Defense Force officers and happily planting the bulbs, imagining the tulips in full bloom.
