On October 11, Volunteer Support Station, an extracurricular activity group of Kanazawa University, conducted a cleaning activity of photos damaged by disasters jointly with the Ishikawa Prefecture Small and Medium Business Association. The photographs were damaged by the torrential rain disaster that occurred in Fukui Prefecture in August 2022. We carefully washed off the stains on the photos with water so that we could return them to the victims with as much cleanliness as possible.
The organization also accepts photographs and albums damaged by the Noto Peninsula earthquake 2024 and Okunoto torrential rains 2024.
