On November 1, Kanazawa University's KEYPAT support team for mental health care in disasters, visited Prefectural Special Needs School in Suzu, which was affected by the earthquake and flooding.

This visit was made possible by a request from Nursing Teacher of the Suzu Branch School. The branch school was located in Houryuu-machi, Suzu City, but due to concerns about damage to the school building caused by the earthquake, it was hastily relocated to Iida Prefectural High School for a short period of one week.

In addition to observing the current state of the school building in Houryuu-machi, KEYPAT visited Iida High School, where it was relocated, and exchanged words with teachers. KEYPAT plans to disseminate information and make necessary adjustments so that support can be provided where it is needed, and will continue to provide support for the mental health care of teachers who have accumulated fatigue and support for the school community.
