On October 21st, Professor Damdindorj Boldbaatar, President of Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences（MNUMS）, and other delegates paid a courtesy visit to President Wada.In April 2024, President Wada visited Mongolia to participate in the opening ceremony of the Kanazawa University Ulaanbaatar Office that was established at Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. Since then, the two universities have continued to deepen the friendship.
After the visit, the “KU and MNUMS Joint Symposium” was held by the two universities to discuss the topics of “Diabetes”, “Diabetic Kidney Disease”, and “Environmental Health, Occupational Health”. The symposium was attended by 115 members of faculty, staff, and students, and each session was followed by a lively question-and-answer time after the presentations.
We hope to continue to develop student and researcher exchanges further between the two universities.
