On October 8, "Kanazawa University Vocabulary Contest 2024" (hosted by Institute of Liberal Arts and Science and co-hosted by University Library) was held in the A1 lecture room of the General Education Lecture Hall. The purpose of this contest is to improve basic English skills through a written vocabulary test for students enrolled in the bachelor's programs. This time is the third time the Kanazawa University Vocabulary Contest has been held.
This year, 86 students from a wide range of schools and grades participated in contest. The top 9 scorers were awarded. In addition, 40 students were awarded special participation prizes, and all participants received small participation prizes.
