Four young researchers invited by the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) visited Kanazawa University and interacted with students and faculty through class and seminar participation

On October 22, College of Human and Social Sciences School of International Studies hosted four young researchers, including Ms. Cindy Ammarie Frida Mandagi from the Indonesian Foreign Policy Community, Ms. Lan Anh Nguyen Dan and Mr. Quang Hong Chieu from the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences, Mr. Arnab Dasgupta of the Manohar Parrikar Institute of National Defense Studies in India.

The four researchers plan to stay in Kanazawa from October 22 until the 27, and visit classes at Kanazawa University. They plan to interact with students and faculty under the supervision of Professor Ryoko Nakano (Dean of School of International Studies of the Institute of Human and Social Sciences, Center for the Study of Global Cultures and Societies). On the first day, they held a discussion about the seminar presentation.

On October 24, as part of the exchange, a seminar in English titled "International Relations in Asia: Perspectives from Indonesia, Vietnam, and India" organized by School of International Studies was held. The purpose of the event was to exchange views on strengthening relations with Japan toward a peaceful and stable international order.
