Students from Kanazawa University’s Volunteer Saport Station organized the "Mukai Awagasaki Exchange Meeting" with the cooperation of the Uchinada-machi Council of Social Welfare as a regular exchange activity with local residents and people affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
On September 6, the first meeting was held at the Mukai Awagasaki Community Center in Uchinada-machi, where there was a chance to interact with the participants through conversation and games such as "ohajiki" a Japanese stringed paper game. During the second meeting on September 15, participants enjoyed playing "Hyakunin Isshu" a Japanese card game, and "Ayatori" together with participants who had brought their own cards. We are planning to hold another exchange meeting in the Miyasaka area of Uchinada Town and plan to hold these activities on a regular basis in the future.
On September 6 and ???7, the same organization leaded by Kaisei Harada from Institute of Human and Social Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Management conducted the activities to transport packages at the relief supplies center in Minato, Kanazawa City, operated by the NPO "Minna no Hatake no Kai".??
