Opening ceremony of "Co-Creation Enterprise and Human Resource Development Program"

On October 3, the opening ceremony of the 6th term of "Co-Creation Enterprise and Human Resource Development Program" was held. 35 researchers from the Tokyo area and companies who are accepting these researchers participated in the event.

This program is a joint program of Kanazawa University, the National Cooperative Enterprise Promotion Center, Hokuriku Financial Holdings Co., Ltd., and Ishikawa Prefecture, with the aim of revitalizing Ishikawa Prefecture's companies, improving its human resources, and contributing to the sustainable development of industry by matching core human resources from the Tokyo area and helping them to settle here.

So far, five terms of the program have been completed, and 37 people and 35 companies have been matched. Furthermore, 24 of them have been settled down in the region after completing the program. It mean that the program is producing positive results.

At the opening, President Takashi Wada gave an opening address, followed by an overview of the program from Professor Sato from Institute of Human and Social Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Management, who is in charge of implementing the program. The core human resources matched this year will receive recurrent education to improve their abilities while engaging in problem-solving for a period of six months from October 2024 to March of the following year. In addition, as visiting researchers at Kanazawa University, they will be engaged in research on solving problems of companies and industries and their co-creative development under the guidance of specialized faculty members.

Afterwards, Trustee Shinichi Nakamura , Director of Frontier Science and Social Co-creation Initiative, presented each researcher with a letter of appointment, and the five participants from the Tokyo area renewed their commitment to solving corporate problems as visiting researchers of Kanazawa University. Finally, Trustee Kaname Miura, in charge of planning and evaluation, regional co-creation, and public relations strategy, gave closing remarks.

In principle, researchers will visit participating companies four days a week to organize and solve management issues, while one day a week they will conduct research for the development of co-creation-type companies and human resources by utilizing the knowledge of faculty, universities, and experts in the "General Seminar", "Advanced Research Lectures", "Co-creation-type Human Resources Scenario Seminar" and "Regional Workshop" at Kanazawa University.

This program will run until the end of March 2025.
