On October 6, the information session for the KUGS Special Entrance Examination "Selection of Human Resources for Disaster Prevention and Recovery" was held.
On the day of the event, 121 people, including 66 high school students and 55 parents, participated in information session. The special entrance examination intorduction (School of Regional Development Studies and School of Geosciences and Civil Engineering), individual consultation sessions for each school, and introduction to the laboratories of School of Geosciences and Civil Engineering were conducted. Kanazawa University students also participated in the individual consultation session, many questions participants asked to the students.
Participants commented: "I want to be involved in the recovery immediately, but I don't have the knowledge. I strongly felt that I want to learn professional knowledge at Kanazawa University." These comments made this a very meaningful briefing session.
