On August 30th, students from extracurricular activity group "Kanazawa University Volunteer Support Station" lidered by lecturer Kaisei Harada from Faculty of Economics and Management, Institute of Human and Social Sciences, participated as members of the organization's staff in the summer festival held at Sumiyoshi Community Center in Nakaiguchi, Anamizu Town.
The summer festival was a great success! Local children, people living in temporary housing and neighbors in the Nakai area interacted with each other, carved ice flowers and enjoyed popcorn and kakigori (shaved ice).
The event was organized by "Matsumoto City Takidashi Mirai" from Nagano Prefecture and supported by students from Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University and teachers and students from Anamizu High School.
