On September 25, students and faculty members of Kanazawa University conducted restoration support activities in areas affected by flooding caused by torrential rains that hit the Okunoto region on September 21.

One group removed damaged furniture and household waste from temporary housing in Takuda-cho, Wajima City, while another group removed Buddhist altars and disaster waste from houses damaged by the earthquake.

"Kanazawa University Volunteer Support Station", an extracurricular student activity group, will continue restoration and recovery activities in the affected areas.
