From August 19 to 30, Kanazawa University supported elementary and junior school students in Suzu city in cooperation with Suzu City Board of Education as part of its support activities for children affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake 2024.
Twenty-two student volunteers from College of Human and Social Sciences, College of Science and Engineering, College of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences, Graduate School of Human and Socio-Environmental Studies, Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Graduate School of Professional Development in Teacher Education, Faculty of Education and faculty members worked together to support a wide range of activities from learning to play through learning support and after-school children's classes.
Kanazawa University will continue the support activities in Noto Peninsula to contribute to the learning of elementary, junior and high school students.
