Kanazawa University Volunteer Support Station group participated in two children's summer festivals held in Uchinada Town in August.
On August 4, at the "Let's Enjoy Children's Summer Festival with the Whole Family" organized by NPO Omusubi, the students assisted in cooking shaved ice (kakigori) and yakisoba noodles and made bottle art with children.
On August 24, at the "Mini Summer Festival" held at the Oseidai Community Center, volunteer students were playing with kids different games such as superballs, shooting games, and selling food and drinks.
All of the summer festivals were a great success, with many smiling children in attendance.
