The Human Resource Development Unit of Frontier Science and Social Co-creation Initiative participated in "Anyato Festival" in Owari-cho shopping district. This event is a part of collaborative project of Owari-cho shopping district and Project: AERU, aiming to promote the attractiveness of the district.
During the preparation for the festival, the students discussed the operation of the festival with the members of the shopping disytrict, such as the progress and layout map, and also worked on the design of flyers and PR using social media. On the day of August 24, 13 students were in charge of the overall operation, including moderation and distribution of fans, and with the cooperation of members of the ISC (International Students Committee of Kanazawa University) international student representative organization, a presentation was made in English. In addition, Koshiyama Kanseido, which has its head office in the Owari-cho shopping district, sold students jointly devised anmitsu and Japanese parfaits.
The festival was a great success, with many participants from local residents to foreign tourists, and from children to adults.
