July 20, the Human Resource Development Unit of the Frontier Science and Social Co-creation Initiative as part of Project: AERU, implemented the "Owari Town Long-established Exchange Center Cleaning Project ~Okurie Ie~" to promote the use of the Owari Town Long-established Exchange Center. Six students participated in the event.
With the cooperation of Ms. Noriko Yamada, the founder of "Okuri ie*" (*), the second floor space of the Owari-cho Koryukan was cleaned as a first step toward making use of the space.
After the cleaning, participants discussed how to utilize the cleaned space with members of the Owari-cho shopping district.
In the future, the Owari Town Shopping Street Cooperation Project Team will exchange opinions with people of the shopping street in order to consider a plan to attract many people and to promote the use and widely disseminate the charm of the long-established exchange center and shopping street.
