On April 29, Kanazawa University established the Kanazawa University Ulaanbaatar Office at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences as its 30th overseas liaison office.
At the opening ceremony, remarks were delivered by Mr. Damdindorj Boldbaatar, President of the National Medical University of Mongolia, President Takashi Wada of Kanazawa University, and Mr. Masaru Igawahara, Ambassador of the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia, and after the remarks, Kanazawa University alumni gave speeches. A large number of local media outlets attended the opening ceremony to cover it, and President Wada responded to interviews after the ceremony.
The new office is expected to promote the development of student and researcher exchanges between Kanazawa University and the National Medical University of Mongolia.
