They listened the explanations about the town's history and architecture, and experienced the charms of Owari-cho. At the end of the tour, the group visited Koshiyama Kanseido, a long-established Japanese confectionery store with its main store in the same shopping district. After that students listened to Director Yasuhiko Tokuyama talk about Japanese confectionery and fermented bean paste, and tried a new product made with fermented bean paste.
The project team is going to cooperate with people from the shopping district for the promotion of "Anyato Festival" which is planned to be held in Owari-cho disrict on Saturday, August 24. As well as for the promotion of the attractiveness of the shopping district in general.
