On May 18, the Sports Kanazawa Festival was held at the university's soccer field (Kanazawa University SOLTILO FIELD).
This festival is hosted by Kanazawa Sports Academy, a general incorporated association, and held in cooperation with Kanazawa University and Kanazawa City Administration. This year's festival, the sixth in the series, is an event where everyone can enjoy and improve their health together through sports.
On the day of the event the weather was nice and about 2,000 people participated in the event. Many children enjoyed sports, dance, and gymnastics.
Our students also participated in the festival as volunteers and conducted "Yosakoi Gymnastics Class," which was popular between paticipants and liven up the event.
