On March 22, 2023, Kanazawa University Degree and Completion Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held at the Kanazawa Opera House. 1,733 graduates and 713 completers, for a total of 2,446 received their diplomas or certificates.
President Wada gave words of encouragement to the graduates and alumni, urging them to take a leap into the world with pride and confidence, and to continue to be interested in the reconstruction and development of the areas affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
During the ceremony, 12 students were awarded by President prizes for their outstanding achievements in academics, graduation theses, master's (doctoral) theses, and extracurricular activities, and President Wada presented them plaques.
