WISE for HaKaSe+ is pleased to present a special lecture, “Pandemic Preparedness and Vaccine Development,” by a graduate of Kanazawa University, Dr. Nicaise Ndembi, Deputy Director General of the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) and Director of its Africa Regional Office.
The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) has reported over 200 disease outbreaks in 2025, highlighting an urgent need for enhanced public health measures. This lecture will provide an overview of the latest developments in pandemic preparedness and vaccine development in Africa.
