Event Details

[Title] Cell Competition Between Normal and Mutant Cells
[Speaker] Professor Yasuyuki Fujita, Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University

Although cancer research to date has targeted differences in intracellular signaling, the "social nature" of cancer has been overlooked. Professor Fujita analyzes cell competition that occurs at the boundary between normal and mutant cells and reveals how normal cells induce the elimination of mutant cells.

In this seminar, he will talk passionately about cell competition, including new findings, and discuss how to come up with new ideas in science.

Professor Fujita is a world leader in cell competition research. In this session, he will also talk about the research concepts necessary to promote original research. We hope you will join us.
