Call for works for the 8th Chozen Literary Award

Kanazawa University has announced the application guidelines for the 8th Chozen Literature Award.

Chozen Literature Award is one of the Kanazawa University contests for high school students. It is a literary contest with two categories, novel and tanka, aimed at praising the tireless efforts and talents of high school students who have a unique talent for words and who have a strong desire to use the "power of words" and "power of literature" to be active in a variety of fields in the future, and encouraging their aspirations.

"Your words shape the future."
Application period: From July 1, 2025 to August 20, 2025
Application Category: Novel Category - One work per person, 40 characters x 40 lines, 5-8 pages
Tanka section: 15 poems per person

? Chozen Literature Award

The winners will be eligible to apply for the Chozen Special Entrance Examination (Chozen Literature Selection) conducted by Kanazawa University.
