Traffic (buses and parking)
※In order to avoid interfering with other users, please refrain from driving private cars onto the Sports Center grounds, including for pick-up and drop-off. .
For pick-up and drop-off, please use the designated parking lot in Seibu Ryokuchi Park.
If you need special consideration for transportation to and from the venue, such as using a wheelchair, please consult with the staff at the entrance of the Center.

Points to note

1. Please be seated by 9:50. No entry to the venue will be allowed after the ceremony has begun.
2. Attire: Please attend in a suit，hakama，etc.
3. Please bring your student ID in order for us to track attendees on the attendance management terminal.
4. For the degree commencement ceremony, etc. that will be held after the ceremony, please follow the instructions of the person in charge of your academic/graduate school.
5. The roads surrounding the venue will be congested, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare.

Traffic information

1）Chartered bus

??A chartered bus (free of charge, no reservations required) will be operated in conjunction with the Degree Conferment Ceremony of Kanazawa University,2024

The number of buses running is limited.

If you are a graduate or have completed your course, please cooperate by moving early to be on time.

Please note that you may not be able to board due to full seats.

If you are in a hurry, we recommend that you board the bus from a stop as close to the departure point as possible, as some stops may be full.

Please see the timetable below for times, stops, etc. The bus will not stop at any other stops than those listed.

2）Extra bus

Kanazawa Station　West gate ?　Ishikawa Sports Center

The fare is 400 yen one way.

Please note that you may not be able to board due to full seats.

Please refer to the timetable below. The train runs directly from the Kanazawa Port Exit (West Exit) of Kanazawa Station to the venue.

 

 

 

3） Local bus

Please check the Hokuriku Railway website?? for the latest information on bus schedules, fares, etc.

 

 

4） Private car

 If you are driving, please use the Seibu Ryokuchi Park parking lot.

It is a 10-minute walk from the Seibu Ryokuchi Park parking lot to the family and companion entrance.??

The parking lot on the Ishikawa Sports Center grounds is for general users of the sports facilities and those involved in the ceremony (relevant faculty and staff, and related contractors).

Students and accompanying persons attending the degree and completion ceremony should use the Seibu Ryokuchi Park parking lot (see the diagram below).

　Please note that the university will not take any responsibility for any accidents that occur in the parking lots. Additionally, drinking and driving is strictly prohibited.

Please refrain from parking in shop parking lots or on the streets around the venue as this will cause inconvenience to local residents.

　The Seibu Ryokuchi Park parking lot will be locked at 1:00 p.m., so please leave within that time. When the locking time arrives, the vehicle will be locked even if it is still there.

Please use public transportation such as buses (chartered, extra, or local) whenever possible.

Kanazawa University Original goods for  sales

At the venue, the Kanazawa University Co-op will set up a booth and sell original university goods.（Payment is by cash only）

?All items except for limited edition items (No. 7 and No. 8) can be purchased even on days other than the degree conferral ceremony.???

Payment can be made by cash or credit card.

◆ Kanazawa University original goods

 

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the original merchandise will be donated to the Kanazawa University Foundation to support students' education and improve the academic and research environment.

There will also be a Kanazawa University Foundation booth at the venue, offering original Kanazawa University goods and other thank-you gifts.

Donations received will be used to support students' education and improve the academic and research environment.
