Event Details
Gambling addiction is well known along with drug addiction and alcohol addiction, but the spread of online gambling on smartphones has led to an increase in addiction among young people in recent years. One of the triggers for becoming addicted to gambling is the dramatic change in living environment that comes with going to university. After entering university and starting part-time work, people have more money to spend. They could be invited by friends to start gambling without much thought, and then become addicted. It leads to debt and loans, illegal part-time work, and even criminal behavior.
To this lecture, we will invite people who have experienced gambling addiction and people from organizations that support their families to talk about gambling addiction and measures to prevent it.
We look forward to your participation!
