Event Details
On Tanabata day in the lunar calendar (August? ?10th), a joint project between Kanazawa College of Art and Kanazawa University will be held, "Noto Reconstruction Support Event Noto Motto! Atto Kentosho! - Thoughts for Noto on Tanabata."
We hope that everyone's thoughts and feelings for Noto will be conveyed in the original tanzaku strips made in the image of Noto. We would also be happy if the puzzles would help children learn more about Noto and research the area at the Ishikawa Prefectural Library. In addition, university students will help elementary school students to create opportunities for free research during their summer vacation. We look forward to welcoming everyone from children to adults.
On the day of the event, there will be a fund-raising campaign to support the recovery of Noto. The collected donations will be delivered to the Ishikawa branch of the Japanese Red Cross Society through the Ishikawa Prefectural Library.
