4 colleges | There are four colleges that cover a wider range of academic areas than traditional faculties: College of Transdisciplinary Sciences for Innovation, College of Human and Social Sciences, College of Science and Engineering, and College of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences. |

Interfaculty Institute for Future Education
The Interfaculty Institute for Future Education is an internal organization under the leadership of the President that is responsible for a radical educational reform in order to create a learner-oriented educational environment (education where students learn and develop their own skills).
The organization is responsible for a radical educational reform under the president in order to create an environment for "Kanazawa University branded human resources" to lead the creation of the future. Furthermore, we will open our educational resources to students outside of the university, and link them to various types of learning, including recurrent education.
College of Transdisciplinary Sciences for Innovation
Fusion of arts and sciences (fusion of different disciplines), innovation, entrepreneurship, design thinking, and diversity - we provide integrative and fusion-oriented studies of diverse fields and systems to develop human resources who will lead innovation.
College of Human and Social Sciences
Human beings and society. Explore the world of knowledge freely. To confront the drastic changes that humans and their societies face in the 21st century, this colleges explores "human beings" and "society." Through six schools, students will deeply learn how to learn freely, overcoming the boundaries of existing academic disciplines, and develop the intellectual and behavioral abilities to deal with various issues in society.
College of Science and Engineering
The aim is to develop highly creative and technically skilled scientists who can contribute to society.
The Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering were merged and integrated into College of Science and Engineering in 2008. In order to respond to the explosive development and fusion of fields, and to foster human resources who will lead future society through the creation of new value and technological innovation, College of Science and Engineering has reorganized the previous 6 schools system and started anew as 7 schools in 2018.

Institute of Liberal Arts and Science
The department is responsible for the basic education of all colleges students to deepen their expertise. The program also offers a wide variety of subjects and class formats to cultivate the foundations and human qualities necessary for students to succeed in the world.
Undergraduate Training Course for School Nurses
It is a Nursing Teacher training institute designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a Nursing Teacher training institute as stipulated by the Educational Personnel Licensing Law.
